Concrete Lifting

Polyurethane foam lifting and leveling for pool decks and the concrete around your pool.

Lifting the concrete around your pool.

Pool Lifters lifts and levels the concrete around your swimming pool—including pool decks, walkways, and adjacent patio slabs—using polyurethane foam.

When soil beneath poolside concrete washes out or settles, slabs can sink, tilt, or pull away from neighboring sections. Injecting polyurethane foam beneath the slab raises and supports the concrete without pouring a new deck.

A worker injects foam at the edge of a raised, stone-edged pool deck while a dial gauge on the slab measures the lift.

Common signs of settling poolside concrete

Pool decks and walkways around a pool often show settling in a few familiar ways:

  • Concrete deck panels that have sunk lower than neighboring slabs.
  • Uneven joints or trip edges along poolside walkways and steps.
  • Slabs tilting toward or away from the pool coping or house foundation.
  • Low spots where water puddles on the deck instead of draining away cleanly.

What to share when you contact us

When you call or send a quote request, let us know:

  • Your city or neighborhood in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
  • Which concrete areas around the pool have sunk or tilted (deck slabs, walkways, steps, or patio sections).
  • Whether the swimming pool itself also appears out of level, or only the surrounding concrete is affected.

How the work is done

How polyurethane foam concrete lifting works.

Three main steps to raise and support settled pool decks, walkways, and patio slabs.

  1. Void / settled soilTarget level lineDrilled port
    Step 1 · Preparation

Drill small ports in the settled slab

Small ports are drilled through the sunken pool deck, walkway, or patio slab (or accessed along the slab edge) to reach the void underneath.

  2. Expanding foam
    Step 2 · Foam Injection

Inject expanding foam under the concrete

Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete slab, filling washed-out voids and lifting the settled section back into alignment.

  3. Cured foam support✓ Raised & supported
    Step 3 · Level & Finish

Check lift with gauges & patch ports

Using a precision dial gauge on the deck edge, the crew monitors the slab as it rises, then patches the small injection ports.

Comparing your options

Polyurethane foam lifting vs. full replacement.

Homeowners often wonder whether a settled swimming pool or concrete pool deck has to be torn out and rebuilt from scratch. Here is how foam lifting compares when the structure is suitable for lifting.

Longcrete recently filled some voids under my driveway and a few adjacent sidewalk panels, and it raised the back yard patio which had sunk below the ground line and had become quite steep. Robert and crew did an excellent job, ensuring the voids were filled via the injection ports as well as from the perimeter of the driveway. The back patio looks like it was constructed in the new position! I strongly recommend Longcrete!

Chris's team repaired our front sidewalk after it had settled significantly causing water puddling and algae buildup from irrigation runoff and rainwater. This technique is so impressive. Minimally invasive so you actually have to look for the small holes they use to pump the foam down in. After leveling, they hit all the stains that had built up with a pressure washer and voila, my sidewalk looks normal again. Pricing was very fair and much cheaper than pouring a new sidewalk! Thanks LongCrete!

I've had LongCrete lift several sections that have shifted or sunk. As an engineer, I like their system, promptness, friendliness, and quality of work. Rip and Replace was many times more expensive, and as a retiree, cost is always a factor. THANKS LONGCRETE! […]
