Pool Lifting

Lifting and leveling swimming pools themselves using polyurethane foam.

Lifting the swimming pool itself.

Pool Lifters uses polyurethane foam to lift and level swimming pools themselves—not just the deck around them. When a pool settles or shifts out of level, foam is injected beneath the structure to raise and support it.

Every pool and yard is different. Contact the team to talk through what you have noticed and whether polyurethane foam lifting is a good fit for your swimming pool.

Lifting raises the existing pool instead of tearing it out and rebuilding it. The right option depends on the pool and the work it needs.

Common signs a swimming pool has settled

Homeowners usually call us after noticing one or more of these changes around their pool:

  • The water line looks higher along the tile on one side or end of the pool than the other.
  • One end or corner of the pool shell appears lower or tilted.
  • Gaps or separation have opened between the pool beam, coping, and the surrounding concrete deck.
  • Water no longer reaches the skimmers evenly around the pool.

What to share when you contact us

When you call or request a quote online, a few basic details help us understand your situation:

  • Where your property is located in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
  • What signs of settling or tilting you have noticed in the pool itself.
  • Approximately when you first noticed the change, and whether it has continued to shift.
  • Whether the concrete deck or walkways around the pool have also settled.

How the work is done

How polyurethane foam pool lifting works.

Three main steps to raise and support a settled swimming pool structure.

  1. Void / settled soilTarget level lineDrilled port
    Step 1 · Preparation

Drill injection ports in the empty pool

With the pool drained for work, the crew drills small ports through the pool floor at the settled area to reach underneath the shell.

  2. Expanding foam
    Step 2 · Foam Injection

Inject polyurethane foam beneath the pool

Polyurethane foam is pumped through hoses into the ports. As it expands beneath the pool structure, it fills empty pockets and raises the low end.

  3. Cured foam support✓ Raised & supported
    Step 3 · Level & Finish

Monitor the lift carefully & seal ports

The crew monitors the movement carefully as the structure rises into position, then seals the injection ports when the lift is complete.

Comparing your options

Polyurethane foam lifting vs. full replacement.

Homeowners often wonder whether a settled swimming pool or concrete pool deck has to be torn out and rebuilt from scratch. Here is how foam lifting compares when the structure is suitable for lifting.

Longcrete recently filled some voids under my driveway and a few adjacent sidewalk panels, and it raised the back yard patio which had sunk below the ground line and had become quite steep. Robert and crew did an excellent job, ensuring the voids were filled via the injection ports as well as from the perimeter of the driveway. The back patio looks like it was constructed in the new position! I strongly recommend Longcrete!

Chris's team repaired our front sidewalk after it had settled significantly causing water puddling and algae buildup from irrigation runoff and rainwater. This technique is so impressive. Minimally invasive so you actually have to look for the small holes they use to pump the foam down in. After leveling, they hit all the stains that had built up with a pressure washer and voila, my sidewalk looks normal again. Pricing was very fair and much cheaper than pouring a new sidewalk! Thanks LongCrete!

I've had LongCrete lift several sections that have shifted or sunk. As an engineer, I like their system, promptness, friendliness, and quality of work. Rip and Replace was many times more expensive, and as a retiree, cost is always a factor. THANKS LONGCRETE! […]
